The Burning Crusade is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) of the Warcraft series which was released in early 2007 on the PC gaming platform. It is a multiplayer role-playing game that is only available for PCs running on the Microsoft Windows and OS X platforms and it can support up to 10 players in a 5 versus 5 death match-style battle.

The First Expansion

The game is set in a virtual world known as Azenoth and the release version featured the WoW first expansion. Players have to play online and accomplish a set of challenges to unlock bonus features in factions, such as the Horde faction and the Alliance faction. Some of the Burning Crusade Expansions have unique game-play features, for example, the Eye of the Storm battleground enables players to engage in a new battleground where they can summon flying mounts.

Player Versus Player Arena System

A new arena system was introduced into the game subsequently, allowing players to fight in 3 versus 3, 2 versus 2, or 5 versus 5 death match-style battles. Once you reach level 70 in the Burning Crusade expansion, you can access ladder-matches. Additionally, three arena stages are also unlocked in this WoW expansions including the Circle of Blood in Blade’s Edge Mountains and the Ruins of Lordaeron in the Undercity.

Summary and Other Features

It’s immersive and features a specially curated soundtrack which plays throughout the game. All the music is from some of the top world-renowned composers and it is available as a 21-track CD. Even though the game was designed in 2006, it has impressive graphics which make it all the more breathtaking. It is a game worth checking out and with 70+ levels, you are sure to stay glued to your screen, conquering battle after battle.
