Durotar has a desert-like landscape with red rocks and cactuses. Durotar is the home of many different types of beasts including Harpies, Razormanes, Scorpions and Boars. In the northern part of Durotar lies the capital city of the Orcs, Orgrimmar. Orgrimmar was founded by the warchief Thrall and named after the legendary Orgrim Doomhammer.

Durotar is now also the home of the Blackspear Tribe Trolls. They live off the southern coast in the Sen’jin Village. Durotar is also good for starting a Mining or Skinning career.
